Food safety is a hot issue that countries in the world attach great importance to. The QuEChERS method improves the efficiency of food inspection and avoids the cumbersome processing steps of traditional inspection methods.
HAWACH specializes in different kinds of lab consumables, also the QuEChERS extraction tube and purification included. The extraction box includes a salt pack and a 50ml centrifuge tube and the purification box is the adsorbent that is directly installed in the centrifuge tube, including 2ml and 15ml tubes.
1. Vegetables, fruits, and edible mushrooms
Weigh 10 g sample (accurate to 0.01 g) in HAWACH 50 ml centrifuge tube, add 10 ml acetonitrile, 4 g magnesium sulfate, 1g sodium chloride, 1g sodium citrate, 0.5g disodium hydrogen citrate, and one ceramic homogenous, cover with the centrifuge tube cap, centrifuged at 4200 r/min for 5 min after vigorously shaking for 1 min. Pipette 6 ml of supernatant into HAWACH 15 ml centrifuge tube containing 900mg magnesium sulfate and 150mg PSA; for darker samples, add 885mg magnesium sulfate, 150mg PSA and 15mg GCB, vortex to mix for 1 min. Centrifuge at 4200 r / min for 5 min, accurately draw 2 ml of supernatant into a 10 ml test tube and blow nitrogen to near dryness in a 40℃ water bath. Add 20μl of internal standard solution, add 1ml of ethyl acetate to reconstitute, and pass through the microporous filter membrane for determination.

Add 15 ml of the acetonitrile-acetic acid solution, 6g of anhydrous magnesium sulfate, 1.5 g of sodium acetate, and 1 ceramic homogenous cover with a centrifuge tube shake vigorously for 1 min, then centrifuge at 4200 r / min for 5 min. Pipette 8 ml of supernatant into HAWACH 15 ml plastic centrifuge tube containing 1200 mg magnesium sulfate, 400 mg PSA and 400 mg C18, and vortex to mix for 1 min. Centrifuge at 4200 r/min for 5 min, accurately draw 2 ml of supernatant into a 10 ml test tube and blow nitrogen to near dryness in a 40℃ water bath. Add 20μl of internal standard solution, 1 ml of ethyl acetate to reconstitute, and pass through the microporous filter membrane for determination.

Add 20μl of internal standard solution, 1 ml of ethyl acetate to reconstitute, and pass through the microporous filter membrane for determination.
3. Tea and spices
Weigh 2 g of sample (accurate to 0.01 g) in a 50 ml plastic centrifuge tube, add 10 ml of water and vortex to mix, let stand for 30 min. Add 15 ml of the acetonitrile-acetic acid solution, 6g of anhydrous magnesium sulfate, 1.5 g of sodium acetate, and 1 ceramic homogenous cover with HAWACH centrifuge tube shake vigorously for 1 min, then centrifuge at 4200 r / min for 5 min. Pipette 8 ml of supernatant into a 15 ml plastic centrifuge tube containing 1200 mg magnesium sulfate, 400 mg PSA, 400 mg C18 and 200 mg GCB and vortex to mix for 1 min. Centrifuge at 4200 r / min for 5 min, accurately draw 2 ml of supernatant into a 10 ml test tube and blow nitrogen to near dryness in a 40℃ water bath. Add 20 μl of internal standard solution, add 1 ml of ethyl acetate to reconstitute, and pass through the microporous filter membrane for determination.

Centrifuge at 4200 r / min for 5 min, accurately draw 2 ml of supernatant into a 10 ml test tube and blow nitrogen to near dryness in a 40℃ water bath. Add 20 μl of internal standard solution, add 1 ml of ethyl acetate to reconstitute, and pass through the microporous filter membrane for determination.
Note: The amount of supernatant absorbed before purification in the above treatment can be adjusted as needed, and the number of purification materials (anhydrous magnesium sulfate, PSA, C18, GCB) is increased or decreased in proportion.
