Sample Vials For Odor Detection

The odor monitoring and detection have proceeded globally for several decades. Currently, a relatively complete set of technical systems has been formed on malodorous emission and monitoring standards. What we will discuss below is the detailed information of the sample vial used for odor detection.
Features
The sample vial for odor detection is made of high-quality borosilicate glass with an expansion coefficient of 3.3±0.1×10-6/K. It possesses strong chemical corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance. To be more specific, it is highly resistant to the acid and alkaline samples with great chemical stability and superior mechanical properties.
Besides, the top of the vial adopts a food-grade silicone plug, which is non-toxic, odorless and non-deformable with good sealing performance. Moreover, the valve port employs the PTFE threaded interface with an extremely small friction coefficient. Each valve is equipped with 3 sealing rings, which has high corrosion resistance and inertness to most chemicals, organic solvents, and gases.
Operation Instruction
The first step is to exhaust the sample vial by using a vacuum exhaust treatment system so that the inner pressure of the sample vial is close to minus 1.0×105pa. Then, open the valve of the vial and fill the sample into it until the pressure is back to the normal level. Finally, make sure it is well placed without being subjected to the sunbeam or lights and conduct the detection within 24 hours.
