Widely used in Soxhlet extraction equipment, cellulose extraction thimbles are good tools for the analysis of fats or pesticides in food and soil materials. Glass microfiber extraction thimbles are suited for critical extractions: separation of particulate dust or aerosols from gas or other airstream and emission test at high temperature。They are also used when cellulose thimbles are not incompatible with solvents.
Especially suited for critical extractions, the glass microfiber thimbles we have are manufactured from high purity borosilicate glass fibers and are thermally stable up to 500°C (932°F). Completely free of binders or additives, they are resistant to most reagents and solvents.
