Working Principle
The principle is similar to that of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and solid-phase extraction (SPE). Both of them use the interaction of adsorbent fillers and impurities in the matrix to adsorb impurities so as to achieve the purpose of impurity removal and purification.
Specifically, the homogenized sample is extracted by acetonitrile (or acidified acetonitrile), separated by extraction salting-out, and then purified by centrifugation with PSA or other adsorbents combined with most of the interferences (organic acids, fatty acids, carbohydrates, etc.) in the matrix.
Application the Detection of Pesticide Residues in Food
QuEchERS method is widely used in many fields, as long as the recovery rate of the target to be tested meets the demand, and the matrix background of removing impurities meets the demand for detection, it can be used to purify the food residues, veterinary residues, additives, illegal additives, plasticizers in all areas may be involved. But at present QuEchERS method is mainly used in the detection of agricultural residues, so we mainly analyze the application of QuEChERS in the detection of pesticide residues in food.
