Before transferring liquid, make sure that the pipette,
pipette tip, and liquid are at the same temperature. When the liquid is sucked, the
pipette remains vertical and the pipette head is inserted 2-3 mm below the liquid level. Before sucking, you can suck several times to wet the suction nozzle (especially when you want to suck a liquid with different density or viscosity from water). At this time, two methods of fluid transfer can be adopted.
Forward liquid transfer
Press the button with your thumb to the first stop point, then slowly release the button back to the origin (absorb the fixed volume of liquid). Then press the button to the first stop point to drain the liquid. After a short pause, continue to press the button until the second stop point to blow out the remaining liquid. Finally, release the button.
Reverse liquid transfer
This method is generally used to transfer high viscous liquids, biologically active liquids, easily foaming liquids or very small amounts of liquids. Its principle is to inhale more than the set range of liquids first, and do not blow out residual liquids when transferring liquids.
